Come and enjoy an introduction to oil painting. Oil painting is the ideal art for the beginner or the intermediate artist who wants to handle this medium with confidence. You will have the opportunity to study because changes and corrections are easily made. Observe illustrations of how paint color can be scraped off the canvas any number of times without destroying the surface. You will learn how to mix primary and secondary colors to produce a variety of different colors. Learn drawing in proportion when painting art subjects. Study variations of light and shadow, that can be examined experimentally. Get oil painting tips, some of which you might be quite amazed at how well it simplifies painting.
